Majority of parents want childhood vaccine schedule reviewed as trust in CDC crumbles

  • Nearly half of American voters support reevaluating the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule.
  • Support for this review jumps to 60 percent among parents with young children.
  • Public trust in the CDC has fallen to its lowest level since the pandemic began.
  • A plurality of voters believe vaccine manufacturers should be liable for injuries.
  • Experts link this growing skepticism to the public conversation around COVID-19 vaccines.

More and more American parents are doubting the CDC’s official vaccine narratives as the negative effects of COVID-19 vaccines become increasingly clear. A new national poll reveals a significant shift in public opinion, showing that nearly half of American voters support reevaluating the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule.

This growing skepticism follows years of government overreach during the COVID-19 pandemic and hrowing awareness of potential vaccine injuries. The survey, commissioned by Children’s Health Defense and conducted by Zogby Strategies, found that 49 percent of registered voters support revisiting the schedule, while only 30 percent oppose such a review. A substantial 21 percent remain undecided, indicating a population still grappling with the complex issue.

The call for scrutiny is even stronger among parents with young children, a demographic directly impacted by these policies. Within this group, support for reevaluating the vaccine schedule jumps to 60 percent. This data signals a profound erosion of trust in federal health agencies, which many feel betrayed the public by forcing dangerous and ineffective COVID-19 vaccines on the population.

The poll of 1,006 voters, which was conducted from June 24 to 25, 2025, has a margin of error of +/- 3.2 percentage points. It highlights a nation that is deeply divided on the role of government in personal medical decisions. The findings arrive as the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices holds its first meeting and creates a new workgroup to review the cumulative effects of the government’s recommended vaccine schedule.

Questioning legal immunity

Another critical finding involves the legal protection granted to vaccine manufacturers. The survey asked voters about a 1986 federal law that shields pharmaceutical companies from lawsuits for vaccine-related injuries. A plurality of 48 percent believe that manufacturers should be subject to the fullest legal action for bodily harm caused by their products. Only 34 percent preferred upholding the current law that protects these corporations from liability.

This sentiment underscores a fundamental demand for corporate accountability. The public is increasingly aware that granting legal immunity to a multi-billion dollar industry removes any financial incentive for these companies to ensure their products are as safe as possible. When manufacturers are protected from lawsuits, the public bears all the risk.

Mary Holland, Esq., president and CEO of Children’s Health Defense, commented on the results. “This data clearly shows that the mainstream media, medical establishment, and many politicians fail to hear the serious concerns of half of Americans on these vital issues,” she said. “The constant fearmongering and shaming tactics aimed at anyone questioning vaccine safety are not only ineffective but backfiring.”

Broken trust

This erosion of confidence is not isolated. A separate KFF poll confirmed that public trust in the CDC has tumbled to its lowest level since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Only 50 percent of adults now express at least some trust in the agency to provide reliable vaccine information, which marks a dramatic drop from 63 percent in September 2023. This decline follows the disastrous COVID-19 vaccine rollout, which saw the government and corporate media suppress honest debate about the vaccines’ well-documented dangers and lack of long-term efficacy.

The KFF poll also reflected conflicting opinions on school mandates. While 70 percent of parents polled said they oppose removing public school vaccine requirements, the Zogby poll found the public almost evenly split. A plurality of 43 percent support schools mandating the CDC schedule, but 39 percent believe students should have access to free public education regardless of vaccine status. Among parents with a child under 17, 47 percent want open access versus 43 percent who want state enforcement.

The movement for medical freedom and transparent science is gaining momentum. As more parents share stories of vaccine injury and as data continues to expose the failures of the COVID-19 vaccines, the public is demanding a new approach. The push to reevaluate the entire childhood vaccine schedule and end legal immunity for manufacturers represents a growing consensus that health policy must prioritize people over pharmaceutical profits. The era of blind trust in health agencies is over, and it’s being replaced by a rightful demand for evidence, accountability, and informed consent.
